Adolescent Mental Health program
Previously known as a school program, Our Adolescent Mental health program covers stress and anxiety through seminars and workshops on the significance of mental health. We also provide mental health training, particularly in schools and colleges with limited access to mental health. With strong partnerships with Teach for India, Global changemakers, Kids Rights organization, and State of Youth chapters, we have reached 12000+ people across 4 cities in India, Kenya, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
Beyond The Bounds is always proud and honored to be part of the State of Youth network. We continued campaigning for and assisting young people via our online seminars with our chapter in Bima, Indonesia. The 2022 year's highlight was how technology in times of covid-19 impacted adolescents' mental health, with over 100 participants joining worldwide!
Recognizing the enormity of the challenges our society faces, 'Beyond The Bounds' is dedicated to making a lasting impact through our campaigns and programs. While our efforts are driven by our organization’s singular focus, we spread a wide net by investing in a variety of progressive strategies. Hence, we have extended to Kenya in Kakuma city.
Rural India Program
One in every seven Indians has a mental disease. Like any other illness, mental illness is widespread across all age groups, income levels, and urban and rural environments. Approximately 70% of the population lives in rural India, where access to necessary support services is challenging, according to the Indian government. Recognizing this need, Beyond The Bounds assists disadvantaged individuals in rural areas through self-reliant program and mental health camps.
BTB-Student Club Program
Beyond The Bounds is dedicated to ensuring students ' mental health. The BTB student club strategy entails establishing on-campus chapters as student clubs to serve students with services. Our objective is to enhance students ' mental health by promoting awareness about mental health concerns, creating a safe learning environment, and bridging the gap between on-campus mental health services and students.
BTB Curtin Malaysia
The first-ever student-led chapter of Beyond The Bounds at Curtin University's global campus in Malaysia, we became the first club to initiate and execute peer counseling services for students at the campus.
Introduced and launched in 2021 amid the pandemic, we saw an increase of 85% in student engagement through our events since the relaxation and resumption of face-to-face services on campus.
